Sauna

Sauna, traditional Finnish bath. The bath is considered a place of bathing, bathing, nude leisure, traditional medicine. Steam and high heat cause bathers to sweat.

A thermometer in a sauna is typically used to measure heat, a hygrometer can be used to measure humidity or steam levels. Infrared therapy is often referred to as a type of sauna, but according to Finnish sauna organizations, infrared is not a sauna. Unlike a steam bath, the steam in a sauna is created by throwing water on a stove.

The first public sauna was built as an emergency in the Olympic village at the 1936 Berlin Olympics in response to the outcry of Finnish athletes. Athletes from other countries used this sauna for the first time in Berlin, and it was of great importance in spreading the culture around the world. Nowadays, Tampere, the second largest city in Finland, has been officially declared the “Sauna Capital of the World”.

Sauna has many positive effects on human health. From rheumatism to sleep disorders, from tension to depressive distress, it is accepted by many health experts today that the sauna has a healing and therapeutic effect against many problems related to our health.
